Umbratex™ Acoustics New Products

Umbratex™ is a collection of decorative texture finishes manufactured from genuine EchoPanel® acoustic panels. Controlled laser etching modifies the surface fibres to create a permanent, shallow texture, bringing subtle depth and tactile character to feature walls, workplace interiors and commercial spaces.

Umbratex™ Rawline reinterprets the classic linear stripe through thicker, irregular broken lines that create a more organic, weathered character. The line weight and pattern density have been carefully developed to provide strong visual contrast across the EchoPanel® colour range, including darker fibre colours such as 442 Grey and 454 Mushroom.

Umbratex™ Texture Finishes are etched, precision cut and finished in Australia by Mitchell Group.

Pattern Layout

Umbratex™ textures are precision-cut to create continuous patterns across adjoining panels. Repeat direction varies by design. Most textures repeat horizontally and vertically, while selected designs are intended for horizontal, side-by-side installation only.

Base Material Performance

Umbratex™ is manufactured on EchoPanel®. For information regarding the performance, sustainability, physical properties, and maintenance of the base material, refer to the current EchoPanel® Technical Data Sheet. These specifications relate to unmodified EchoPanel® only and have not been independently tested or certified following the Umbratex® laser-etching process.

Edge Detail

Most Umbratex™ textures are supplied with a square edge as standard, with an optional bevel available on the long edges. Slab and Bricks feature bevelled edges on all four sides and are not available with a square edge.
