Laser-Etched Panels for Commercial Interiors
Etched Acoustic Panels with Textured Surface Design
Laser etching allows acoustic panels to become part of the architectural finish rather than functioning only as sound treatment.
Controlled surface etching can introduce pattern, texture and visual depth while retaining the underlying panel format. This makes etched panels particularly suited to commercial interiors where designers want acoustic materials to contribute to the overall design language.
Mitchell Group’s Umbratex™ collection uses precision laser etching to create permanent textured finishes on genuine EchoPanel® acoustic panels.
Designed for Feature Walls and Commercial Interiors
Etched panels can be incorporated into a wide range of interior applications, including workplace, hospitality, education, retail and other commercial environments.
They are particularly suited to:
- Feature walls and statement surfaces
- Workplace and meeting areas
- Hospitality interiors
- Reception and customer-facing spaces
- Architectural wall treatments

From Standard Textures to Custom Designs
Different etched patterns can create anything from subtle linear detailing to more pronounced architectural textures.
The Umbratex™ range provides a growing selection of standard designs across multiple texture styles, while project-specific requirements can also be considered where a more customised surface treatment is required.
Mitchell Group combines material supply with fabrication and etching capability, helping architects, designers and commercial project teams coordinate the panel finish with the wider interior concept.
