As a family owned and run business for over 55 years, Mitchell Laminates has built a reputation within the cabinet making and kitchen manufacturing industries, for treating customers like family. Whether it’s an order for one sheet or two hundred sheets, Mitchell’s believes in a customer service ethic which has long since been forgotten.
Family Owned
When we say Mitchell Laminates is a family business, we mean just that. Many years ago (1949 to be precise), Alex Mitchell and his brother started a family business in Flinders Street, Melbourne, known as Payntfast Pty. Ltd. Peter Mitchell joined his father in the business in 1955. In 1957 they developed a cut-to-size Laminex business. Today, four family members, Graham Henderson, Brett Mitchell, Marcus Mitchell and Shane Mitchell work directly within the company, all sharing the same vision and passion for servicing customers as Alex and Peter Mitchell had all those years ago. Of course Mitchell’s also has an extended family of proud employees who similarly share in the Mitchell vision.
